Thursday Blog

Today my group made kites and went kayaking. The kites work really well when it's very windy. Kayaking was really fun. We learned the basic moves and played polo. At the end we all had a chance to capsize. Can't wait for tomorrow's activities because they'll be as fun as today's.

This morning unfortunately Lucy couldn't join in the kayaking with everyone else because of her previous accident (she hurt her arm during cycling on Tuesday). Instead she made jewellery with Hanni which was really fun and she made a lot of cool things. Meanwhile, Ruth did kayaking. They played water polo and Peking duck, which was like a relay. After a lunch of beans on toast, we all got into a mini bus which took us to a bridge where we abseiled off. The other team went first so we went on a walk. When we got round to abseiling, we did a tandem off and we chatted all the way down. It was fantastic!

Food...

The food is good! No turkey twisters or greasy chips. The food is good!
A mixed cuisine of wholesome, fresh food. The food is good!
From beef casserole to burgers in a roll. The food is good!
Tasty home-made desserts. The food is good!
The cooks are unbeatable along with their food. The food is good!
